TASHE Visit to Anglesey Abbey (NT), Cambridgeshire

TASHE (The Arts Society Harpenden Evening) have organised a day trip by coach from Harpenden.

Cost:  approx. £26 (tbc) for NT/RHS  members
 +Admission for non-NT/RHS  members: £18.05

Anglesey Abbey has a rich history and many treasures, with extensive gardens, meadow and woodland.  Believed to date back to 1135, it became a priory in the 13th century, falling into decay following the Dissolution of the Monasteries by Henry VIII. It had a series of private owners until Lord Fairhaven bought it in the early 20th century, creating a comfortable home full of world-class furnishings.

We still have a few seats available.

The coach will depart from central Harpenden.  Admission includes access to the house and the extensive grounds.  Lunch is not included but there are plenty of places to buy refreshments.
